Friends for many years, they have recently enjoyed teaming their musical styles, adding their own personal flare to the music they play.
Whether it’s a Jazz Standard, Ballad, Blues, Roots, R&B, 50/60’s Oldie, they manage to make it sound fresh and unique while retaining it’s familiar charm.
Mike Santoro
Has been passionate about music his whole life. He started playing accordion in function bands for a many years. Later in life, he developed a self-taught piano style and began writing original music.
Most recently, he has played in the Massachusetts area with several bands playing covers (blues, Roots, R&B).
Musical influences: Elton John, Sting, Dave Brubeck, The Eagles, Traffic.
René Hallmark
Began singing Doo-Wop harmonies under a street lamp at the age of 10, René progressed on to play the guitar and sing vocals at informal group functions. He eventually sang lead vocal for a New Jersey Group called the 'Mods' which included lead guitarist Stevie Van Zandt.
At this time, and for more than 20 years René has had leadership roles in Music ministry as vocalist and Guitarist.
Musical influences: Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, The Eagles, Michael Bublé, Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban.
